Magic Bullet Juice Bullet

Magic Bullet Juice Bullet

Months ago, I had a hilariously failed attempt at juicing. Because I didn’t realize that you can’t juice using a food processor, that’s exactly what I tried to do. The result was an undoubtedly nutritious, but texturally horrific concoction that all-too-strongly resembled baby poop.

I’ve been interested in juicing for ages. Today, we made a trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond, and I convinced my husband to let me buy a juicer. We opted for the Magic Bullet Juice Bullet for no other reason that it’s price.

For $60, I can try juicing out, see if I’ll use the juicer consistently, and figure out how expensive it is to juice. If I find that I’m juicing consistently over a months and months, I may upgrade to a nicer machine. For now though, I’m exciting to give my starter juicer a spin.
Here’s what I plan to try over the next few days:

1. Cucumber Pineapple Mint

2. Berry Booster (taken from my juicer’s recipe book)
1 cup strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1 apple

3. I’m also planning to buy the ingredients to try this “Wake Up” recipe, also taken from my juicer’s recipe book:
1 cup spinach
1/4 cup parsley
1 red bell pepper
1 orange, peeled
1 cup strawberries

Do you have a favorite juicer recipe? I’d love to try it, and I’ll bet other readers would love to have your recipe, too. Leave a comment, talk to me on our Facebook Page, or email me at Melissa (at) MarryingTheArmy.com!
