A Whirlwind Weekend in Budapest

A Whirlwind Weekend in Budapest

One of the most incredible things about an international duty station is the ease with which you can explore new places. And by new places, I mean entirely new countries — like Hungary — that are only a short trip (i.e. a 1.5 hour flight) away.

We just returned home from a whirlwind weekend in Budapest, Hungary. The city was rich with history, architecture, food, and more, and I can’t wait to share more with you (including some beautiful pictures!). For now, here’s a picture of my husband and I taken from Fishermen’s Bastion on the Buda side of the Danube River.

I hope that you and your family had a good Labor Day!
